The Korean-American Chamber of Commerce of Houston (KACC Houston), founded in 1973, is the principal organization representing Korean-American entrepreneurs and professionals across the Greater Houston area. Established to support the growth and success of Korean-American businesses, the chamber plays a vital role in advancing economic development, facilitating trade and commercial relationships between Houston and Korea, and serving as a unified voice for the Korean-American business community. KACC Houston provides resources and guidance to help members navigate small-business regulations, access government programs, and stay informed on key economic and industry trends. Through business seminars, networking events, and community engagement initiatives, the chamber strengthens connections among business owners, professionals, and civic leaders.

Importantly, Korean-owned and Korean-headquartered companies maintain a significant presence in the Houston region — reflecting the depth of the economic linkage between Korea and Houston. According to the Greater Houston Partnership's "Global Houston" analysis, South Korea is among Houston's top Asian trading partners, with trade averaging approximately $8.8 billion annually between 2012 and 2023 and rising to about $22.9 billion in 2023. This connection is further reinforced by major Korean national companies operating in Greater Houston, including Korea National Oil Corporation (KNOC), which maintains a Houston-based subsidiary; SK Group, with several corporate offices across the city; and Hanwha Group, which operates through Hanwha Power Systems Americas. These established corporate presences highlight how Korean industry is integrated into Houston's global economy.
